Location: 5730 Neck Rd, Huntersville NC
Where to Find Us: Look for our large black kayak trailer right near the official Neck Road Access Area sign near the Neck Road Boat Ramp. We operate directly on-site at the water’s edge for your convenience—we do not have a physical storefront building.
Parking Rules: Please park your vehicle exclusively in the gravel parking lot. The long, paved parking spaces are strictly enforced by local wildlife officers and reserved solely for trucks hauling motorized boat trailers.
Optimal Launch Times: The access area is highly popular and parking spaces fill up very quickly on hot summer weekends. We highly recommend booking our early morning slots (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM) to secure a premier parking spot and enjoy glassy, calm waters before the afternoon boat wakes pick up.
Navigating Mountain Island Lake: All rentals are completely self-guided. Once we launch you from the shoreline, you can enjoy paddling through quiet, undeveloped coves rich with local wildlife, or make the scenic trip over toward the Latta Nature Preserve waterfront.
